Job Overview:

As an Internet Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing online sales inquiries, engaging with potential customers through various digital platforms, and facilitating the sales process from initial contact to final purchase. You will work closely with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Online Inquiries: Promptly respond to all internet leads and inquiries through email, chat, and phone, providing detailed information about vehicle options, pricing, and financing.

  • Customer Engagement: Engage with potential customers through digital communication channels, building rapport and understanding their needs to match them with the right vehicle.

  • Sales Process Management: Guide customers through the sales process, from initial inquiry to the final sale, including scheduling test drives, assisting with financing options, and preparing necessary paperwork.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the dealership's inventory, including the latest models, features, and pricing, to effectively answer customer questions and promote vehicles.

  • CRM Management: Use the dealership's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track leads, follow up with potential customers, and document all interactions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of customers who visit the dealership in person, ensuring a seamless transition from online to in-store experience.

  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the dealership.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new developments in digital sales strategies.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing any concerns or issues that arise and ensuring a positive experience for all customers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, particularly in an automotive dealership, is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with digital communication tools and CRM software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • High level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of automotive products and services is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily an office environment with regular use of computers and phones.
  • Occasional travel within the local area may be required for vehicle deliveries or customer meetings.
