Job Description:
Madera Toyota Chevrolet is seeking an experienced DMV Clerk to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing vehicle registration and title paperwork while ensuring compliance with California DMV regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Process new and used vehicle registrations, title transfers, and renewals.
- Submit all DMV paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify and maintain records of all vehicle sales and ensure correct fees are collected.
- Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve registration or title issues.
- Stay updated on California DMV regulations and ensure compliance.
- Process out-of-state transactions, duplicate titles, and lien releases.
- Maintain organized records of all DMV transactions and documentation.
- Assist customers with DMV-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a DMV Clerk in a dealership setting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of California DMV title and registration processes.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Software: Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or Dealertrack preferred.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
